Poster design created for a University of the Arts summer design course for high school students. This poster was created at the height of COVID-19 in 2020 to highlight how wearing a mask could cause high numbers to plateau. The background consists of a pattern of variously colored masks, slightly offset to create visual interest compared to a perfectly spaced pattern. The geometric nature of the pattern does still allow spaces of it to be cut out in order to insert text. The main statistic (2, 683 deaths) slightly bleeds off the page to create further visual interest.
